I 98 comuni della Danimarca (kommuner) costituiscono la suddivisione amministrativa di secondo livello del Paese, dopo le cinque regioni. I comuni sono dotati di competenze proprie, sottratte alla supervisione dello Stato centrale.
Con la riforma del 2007 il numero dei comuni danesi è stato ridotto, passando da 270 a 98, così come le 13 contee sono state sostituite dalle 5 regioni.
I comuni più popolosi sono Copenhagen, la capitale (549.050 abitanti), Aarhus (314.545 abitanti), Aalborg (201.142 abitanti), Odense (191.610 abitanti) e Esbjerg (115.112 abitanti).
